Buspar
Buspar (Buspirone Hydrochloride) is used for the management of
anxiety disorders or the short-term relief of the
symptoms of anxiety. Buspar is an agent that is not chemically or
pharmacologically related to the benzodiazepines (e.g. Valium, Xanax)
barbituates, or other sedative/anti-anxiety drugs.
Zoloft (sertraline) is used to treat depression, panic
attacks, obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD), and post-traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD). Zoloft works by helping to restore the balance of certain
natural chemicals in the brain. Zoloft has also been used to treat a severe
form of premenstrual syndrome (premenstrual dysphoric disorder- PMDD)
and a sexual function problem in men (premature ejaculation).
